Kiwidinok

 

Kiwidinok cares deeply for people, for her tribe, and for nature. She is like a myth, a legend that knows the origins of Tempernado, as well as the only way to keep him sealed. 

 

I wanted to design Kiwidinok with the utmost respect for Native Americans, so a lot of research was delved into. At first, she was drawn as a young woman, but I felt that her character would have a deeper past if she were an older, gruffer woman. Also, I wanted her to have bigger than life abilities like Paul Bunyan and Pecos Bill.
