Pecos Bill

 

Pecos Bill is the rootinest, tootinest cowboy to ride north, south, east, and west of the Rio Grande. Raised by coyotes and trained the first cowboys, Pecos became a tall tale legend amongst the ranks of Paul Bunyan and John Henry. He has lived through the Wild West, the Cold War, and well into the 21st century. But, what has happened to the days of the cowboys? Can Pecos Bill still find adventures in a world of cars, trucks, and social media?

 

During the production of my first comic, there were times that I would be away from the comic pages and I just wanted to draw a story of Pecos Bill. This is one of them where Pecos is fighting The Red Scare during the McCarthy Era. Don't worry, this story will be flushed out more in the future, but I always accept fan art and stories if anyone wants to add to this short scene.
