Slue Foot Sue

 

Pecos Bill's long time love, Slue Foot Sue first met Pecos as she rode a giant catfish through the Pecos River. As the legend goes, Sue begged to ride Widowmaker, but she was bucked off immediately...all the way to the moon. Some stories say she kept bouncing on Earth while some say she never came back. Well, she's around for sure, but she's more heart broken.

 

Slue Foot Sue is a mystery of a character to write. I definitely want her in the story, but the tough part is to figure out how she fits as an antagonist behind the scenes. At some point I want to write her descent into darkness, but I still am not sure how dark I want to drag her down.
