Zeke

 

Throw together a Wild West sage and a modern computer adept and you've got Zeke. Ever since he was a boy, Zeke admired his Uncle Pecos. Though he never achieved the status of a Tall Tale, his expertise as a cowboy and a techie have become invaluable on the Perpetual Motion Ranch.

 

I have had a blast working on this character. As I was working on Pecos Bill #1, the concepts and plans for issue 2 ran wild in my imagination. At times, I was compelled to draw a scene I wanted to use no matter where I was. Sometimes it's at a meeting, at the dinner table, or even church. This concept panel was refined for Issue 2, but I wanted to focus on Zeke's down-to-earthness.
