Panels from Pages: Afterlife with Archie

A lot of hype went into this book...A LOT! And, it totally owned up to my expectations. But, what works especially well with Afterlife with Archie and its story is Francesco Francavilla's artwork. His bold inks give this comic an eerie 1960s horror film feel. But, his colors are spectacular. Francavilla uses a warm color scheme contrasted with a cool blue-violet for shadows and dramatic lighting. The art alone makes this book worth picking up.
