Panels from Pages: Star Trek the Manga

I normally do not read Manga. Actually, this is the first manga title I've ever read. This is Star Trek: The Manga by Shinsei Shinsei. It was an OK read. One thing that differs between American comics reading and Japanese manga is that manga can have pages and pages of dialogue without any action.

This panel is really fun, albeit really tiny on the page. It shows really nice lighting and the halftone shading from the medium is something that I highly appreciate. I also really enjoy the panelling in this comic form. The page is always split in an interesting way to keep the reader looking around.
