Panels From Pages: Action Comics #26

With an explosive take on Superman, Aaron Kuder takes on the pencils for Action Comics #26 and he does a phenomenal job. Kuder's skill shows up in all aspects of the art, from the facial expressions to the amazing detail on the monster that shows up in these pages. His action scenes are exciting and the dialogue scenes show perfect relationships between the characters. I especially enjoy the flashback scenes of childhood Clark and his father.

In this panel, Kuder depicts the explosion with not only the lines behind Superman, but in the shadows throughout Superman's figure. The foreshortening is spot on. I think Aaron Kuder is a perfect fit for Action Comics and it'll be great to see his take on Superman.
