Panels from Pages: Mine Larfleeze

Though I'm not too big a fan of Larfleeze, there are some panels from time to time that impress me. In the recent issues, the once dead Orange Lanterns Corps were depicted as living. That was an interesting idea and it was fun to see how the artist interpreted the various aliens that made up the Corps.

Scott Kolins does the art in this book, and in this page we are thrown into the mind of Larfleeze, and what do we find but a giant word "MINE" in the deep vastness of Larfleeze's thought. It was a comical scene and the immensity of the word drives home the importance and singularity of the thought. The perspective is nice and the brick texture conveys a thought that is old but strong.
